Olmsted Falls High School vs St. Joseph Academy Catholic High School
2380 2193

On Saturday the girls Varsity team defeated St. Joseph Academy taking 2 games and all baker games to win total pins. This win brings the girls record to 7-1 in the GCIBL.

Leading the Bulldogs was senior Ashley Clark shooting a 473 series including a 194 second game. Senior Krislynn Katona was right behind with a 456 series.

This was the most intense match of the season for the girls. After their slowest start of the year in game 1, the girls rebounded for their best regular season game of 749 in game 3. In this game going into the final two frames, they were down by 40 and ended up winning the game by 20 pins. This was all thanks to a key 9th frame in which all 5 bowlers marked!

The Baker games were no different as they held off St. Joseph. Next week, it’s a 1st place showdown with Westlake High School. The Bulldogs need to win the match to take 1st place possession alone. Action begins at 9am @ Buckeye Lanes! Go Bulldogs!!!
