The Varsity Girls Bowling team continued their strong 2020-21 campaign with their 5th win of the season over Cuyahoga Heights this morning in the GCIBL. The girls defeated the Redskins both regular games with scores of 648-598 and 723-701. This allowed them a 72 pin lead heading into the Bakers. Although they would lose the first baker game by 59 pins to bring the match within 13 pins, the Bulldogs never surrendered the lead shooting their season high baker series of 885 for six games. They would win the match by 54 points.
Leading the Bulldogs on the day were the strong Juniors Delaney Condosta and Mallory Carroll. As they have been all year, Condosta and Carroll shot series of 324 and 314, respectively. In addition, the BUlldogs got help from Sophomore Jordan Becaj who shot 40 pins over her average and came up big in clutch situations.
The Bulldogs return to action next week where they bowl in GCIBL action along with their first tournament of the season on Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Go Bulldogs!
