It was a rough day for the Varsity boys on Saturday as they would take their first loss of the season on Saturday to a tough St. Ignatius. The boys are now 2-1 on the season.
Thanks to a 979 game from St. Ignatius, the Bulldogs were immediately put in a 180 pin deficit and although they would win game 2 and 2 bakers, the match was too far out of reach as St. Ignatius closed the door shut.
Leading the Bulldogs in series was junior Christopher Mills as he shot a 381 series with back to back 190 games. Keegan Skoczen also helped with a 367 series including a 205 game.
The Bulldogs remain tied for 1st place in the GCIBL but need to bounce back strong this weekend. They will face Westlake High School on Saturday and then participate in their first tournament of the year where they will bowl in the Eagle Challenge/SWC Preview tournament on Sunday. Go Bulldogs!
