The Olmsted Falls Boys JV Bowling team defeated the St. Ignatius WIldcats to end their GCIBL season. The boys would fall behind in game 2 after taking game 1. Heading into Bakers, the Bulldogs faced a 16 pin deficit. They would role 4 baker games of 156-186-163-160 to win the match by 18 pins. The Bulldogs now on the year are 12-2 (8-2 GCIBL, 4-0 NSBC) overall with their only two loses coming to Westlake. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs did not finish in 1st in any of the divisions this year so they will not bowl in the GCIBL Championships next week.
Leading the Bulldogs on the day was Freshmen James Jones shooting a 179-157 for a 336 series. James has continued to build his game up to add to a solid freshman season. Senior TJ Moran and sophomore Joseph Poore also bowled above their averages to help the JV Bulldogs out.
There are two matches remaining for the JV Bulldogs this season. The Bulldogs will bowl their final NSBC match against Avon Lake on Wednesday and will take part in the North Shore Bowling Conference JV Tournament next Sunday at Nautical Lanes. Go Bulldogs!
