Bulldogs News · Sponsorship Spotlight: Consultative Insurance Group | Presented by VNN

We’re excited to welcome Consultative Insurance Group as a continued, official partner of the Olmsted Falls High School athletic website!

Who They Are & What They Do

Consultative Insurance Group — The agency name encapsulates the approach they and their clients want when searching for an insurance provider. They are always interested in learning about, then meeting the unique needs of each individual client rather than just working to sell a product.

Ron Smith, his wife Kindra, and their 27 employees in Olmsted Falls and at their South Carolina offices (where Kindra is from) are all keenly aware of the changing needs of insurance. So, they have become experts in the ways they can use technology to serve clients across different generations. They are set up to work and re-create the client experience from anywhere using email, phone, and Internet technologies that help tailor communications to client preference. Ron says, “We understand some younger people don’t want us to educate and explain over the phone or with materials, so we send them a short video clip that helps them understand their product. We will even send texts, if they prefer that over a live phone call.”

Whether you need a personal policy for your home or car, a financial product to help protect your retirement or your family’s future, or a commercial policy for your business, they can help.

Meet Recap

The men’s varsity team hung in there for the most part all day. A slow start in the baker round would be their ultimate undoing today as they fell into 10th and almost managed to come back to get into the championship round.

Nonetheless, the event was probably the first event that the coaches saw such an improvement in team bowling. It was shown yesterday in the GCIBL and it was there today. All the boys can do is look to improve as they will have their first of three matches of the year against the Westlake Demons.

A very tough battle today between the new St. Joseph Academy Jaguars today as the lady bulldogs reunited with former teammate Angela Weiland. The Bulldogs ended up winning games 1 and 3 scratch but ultimately would lose total pins by only 35 pins. It was a tight match throughout.

Leading the Bulldogs score wise was Junior Krislynn Katona as she went toe to toe with her old teammate shooting a 509 series including a 205 third game. Angela would shoot 511 with a 214 game in game 2. It was back and forth all day.

The sportsmanship was at an all time high and the Lady Bulldogs have nothing to hang their head about today. Standing updates include moving to 3-1 in the OHSAA Standings, 18-10 in the Scratch Standings, 19-9 in the Handicap Standings, and 14-6 in the Baker Standings.
