What will you miss most about being a Student-Athlete at OFHS?
Running out on the field every Friday night with my brothers and having the privilege of playing for my community
What is the best experience you had as a Student-Athlete at OFHS?
Our first football game as seniors we played Brecksville and we were down two touchdowns at the half. Although most of us had little or no varsity experience we were able to come back and win in the last few minutes. It was a great experience for our team and community.
What is your favorite game, meet, or match you were involved in and why at OFHS?
I really enjoy the track meet we host on senior night every year, Bulldog relays. It’s a great time to recognize senior track athletes and watch them compete in their last home meet. I’ll always remember cheering on the girls 4×4 under the lights before my relay gets ready to run.
Would you like to thank or recognize anyone who has assisted you along the way?
I would like to thank coach Deluca for showing me how to be a leader and a better athlete
Head Coach DeLuca’s Comments:
Stephen Ellis was a leader of the team as a captain and two-way starter. He was also a scholar-athlete this past season. Stephen was a first-team all SWC selection at running back and all-district honorable mention. Good luck to Stephen as he plans to attend Taylor University next year.
Good Luck Stephen and Best of Luck to you!
