On Friday night, the Bulldogs captured second place in the windy and rainy elements at the 43rd annual Kiwanis Bulldog Relays. Senior Andrew Turski continued his dominance in preparation for the SWC championship meet on Wednesday and Friday by placing first in the 100m dash, first in the 4×400 and second in the sprint medley. Joining Turski on the 4×400 were seniors James Patton, Matt Johnson and freshman Stephan Ellis. On the sprint medley, junior Josh Jaeckin, Johnson and Patton helped get that second place finish. The 4×100 relay of Johnson, junior Richie Nock, Ellis and sophomore Devin Jones got second place. The high jump relay of freshman Austin Juergens, Patton and junior Alec Juergens came away with a second place finish. Finally, the shuttle hurdle team of sophomores Brennan Winkel, Noah Thoma, Nick Kukura and freshman Dominyck Newson got third place. The Bulldogs get ready for the SWC championship meet on Wednesday and Friday.
