Game Recap

The freshmen and JV Bulldogs started the night by sweeping Berea-Midpark in straight sets! They showed hustle and determination to set the stage for the Varsity match up.

The Varsity dogs came out slow, but gained momentum and showed the best energy and teamwork the coaching staff has seen this season to win in 4 sets. Setters Maura Schultz and Emma O’Brien dished out a combined 54 assists and 20 digs on the night, playing their best defensive games of the season. Leah LaPinta (43 digs), Maddie Marsico (11 digs), and Meghan Sheneman (11 digs) all contributed solid defensive performances.

Offensively, Kaye Dregalla led the way with 20 kills. Jeanie Edgington (11 kills, 3 blocks), Liana Petitti (8 kills), Halle Slater (6 kills, 4 blocks), Lauren Kreitzer (5 kills, 3 blocks) and Grace Simon (2 kills, 2 blocks) kept the Berea-Midpark defense guessing with their attack.

The Bulldogs play 3 away matches next week in important SWC matchups.
