Boys Stay Steady at Sandusky

Thursday evening, the Bulldogs came away with third place at the Sandusky Invitational. Senior Andrew Turski held the crown for the 100m dash and was the anchor to the winning 4×200 relay including seniors Matt Johnson and James Patton along with freshman Stephan Ellis. Junior Dominic Gentile returned to the shot put and got second place with a new PR. Sophomore Brennan Winkel earned second place as well in the pole vault. The 4×800 team of senior Eli Tomasch and sophomores Joe Backus, Griffin Purdy, and Collin Cook took home second place. Freshman Austin Juergens jumped for third in the high jump and Backus raced for third in the 3200m. The 4×100 relay of Johnson, junior Richie Nock, Ellis, and sophomore Devin Jones took third. The 4×400 team of sophomores Michael Borovich and Sam Hubbard along with Tomasch and junior Joe Bement followed suit for third as well. The Bulldogs host their Bulldog Relays next Friday.
