Meet Recap

The Olmsted Falls Wrestling team won two key SWC matches last night at Avon High School. The Bulldogs are now 4-0 in conference action. They started the night out by defeating Midview 43-25. They ended the evening by defeating Lakewood 66-10. Going 2-0 on the night were: Michael Shaw, Caiden Fetterman, Brady Stang, Josh Jaeckin, Noah Broski, Connor Atkins, and Justin Jaeckin.
The wrestlers have a busy week next week. They were selected as the #1 Seed in their region for the OHSAA Duals and will host Parma and Valley Forge on Wednesday. Parma will Wrestle Valley Forge at 6:00 pm, and Olmsted Falls will face the winner 20 minutes after the conclusion of that match.
On Friday, the wrestlers will have 2 more key SWC Duals, as they will Wrestle Amherst Steele High School and Westlake. Amherst is undefeated in the conference, and Westlake has only 1 loss. The first match will begin at 6:00 pm.
The wrestling team will kick Friday night off with a special recognition of all of the program’s State Champion Wrestlers. The program has crowned 7 Individual State Champions, (Mark Allison, Mike Pace, Luke Workman, Russell Workman, Kyle Stoffer, and Ryan Smith 2x’s)! It is planned that all will be in attendance on Friday evening.
