Game Recap

The Bulldog Varsity Volleyball team wrapped up their regular season with an amazing 5 set victory over first place Avon Thursday night! The Bulldog crowd was at full force, supporting the team every point!

The “never give up” attitude was shown by Leah LaPinta, leading defensively with 28 digs. Kacie Burton and Kaye Dregalla each had 15 digs, while Meghan Sheneman and Taylor’s Letterle’s 12 and 10 digs kept the Avon attackers frustrated.

Kaye Dregalla led the offense with 21 kills. Kacie Burton recorded 10 kills, 7 blocks, and 39 assists to the Bulldog hitters. Halle Slater and Julia Jones also had key kills on the night. Grace Hinckley and Jeanie Edgington adjusted to the Avon attack and put up 5 big blocks each.

Freshman, Maura Schultz, was called into the fifth set to serve, down. She came through in a big way, serving the Bulldogs to a 13-12 lead!

The Bulldogs head into sectionals this Wed. at Midview HS. Come out and support your team!
