Game Recap

Avon and Olmsted Falls played Wednesday night in the final match of the regular season for the Bulldogs.

Avon got the best of Olmsted Falls by a score of 2-1.

After a rough first half and trailing 0-2 at the break Olmsted Falls recovered strong and controlled the tempo in the second half. They capitalized on a scoring chance off a ball played by Senior Captain Brittany Chapman that connected with Sophomore Hayley Getz.

The Bulldogs had a few more opportunities but came up short. But it was impressive to see Olmsted Falls continue to fight to the end and adjust their game to make a late push.

Olmsted Falls finishes the regular season with an 8-4-4 record heading into the playoffs on Monday against Amherst.

The JV lost 1-0 and finishes 12-4 on the season.
